Team Outlook
Baird - Coach Bryan Webb (9-2-0) at Baird and (9-2-0) Overall, returns 12 letterman 4 offensive 6 defensive starters with 11 letterman lost from a (9-2) 1A Area playoff team. 
Cross Plains - Coach David Hagler (5-5-0) at Cross Plains and (5-5-0) Overall, Offense (Wing - T), Defense (4-3), returns 11 letterman 5 offensive 6 defensive starters with 12 letterman lost from a (5-5) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: I expect our team to be more "team oriented".  I expect more leadership also.
Evant - Coach Keith Stifflemire (9-11-0) at Evant and (9-11-0) Overall, Offense (Wishbone), Defense (Split), returns 23 letterman 8 offensive 7 defensive starters with 11 letterman lost from a (7-3) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, receiver, offensive line, kicker), Strengths on defense (defensive line, defensive back, punter).  Notes from the Coach: The line will be huge and full of seniors.  The QB position will be lead be a three year starter.  The entire backfield gained lots of experience this year.
Goldthwaite - Coach Gary Proffitt (153-65-3) at Goldthwaite and (153-65-3) Overall, Offense (Wishbone), Defense (Split 6), returns 11 letterman 6 offensive 6 defensive starters with 12 letterman lost from a (4-6) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We hope to be a little better after coming off a great off season.  We should be stronger in the line since we have 4 starters back out of 5 slots.  Our skill people must come through for us.
Gorman - Coach Coby Tyson (14-16-0) at Gorman and (22-28-0) Overall, Offense (Flex bone), Defense (Multiple), returns 10 letterman 6 offensive 6 defensive starters with 5 letterman lost from a (6-4) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We will be strong defensively if our offense can do its part.  We lost all 3 starting backs and our best back up RB.  We will need some players to step up in these roles.  We only had 15 high school football players last year, but we expect 25 this year.  We have some good seniors this year, but we will still rely on young players at our skill positions.  If the backfield comes through and our offensive line is as good as I expect it can be, we will make a push in our district.
Ranger - Coach Russell Joy (2-8-0) at Ranger and (2-8-0) Overall, Offense (I), Defense (4-3), returns 13 letterman 6 offensive 6 defensive starters with 8 letterman lost from a (2-8) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver, offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: We are going to be a much better team.  We wont have individuals on the team.  We are going to be stronger physically, but we are going to have to find a QB that will step up.
