Team Outlook
Falls City  - Coach Mark Kirchhoff (66-28-0) at Falls City and (90-48-0) Overall, Offense (Flexbone), Defense (4-3), returns 10 letterman 3 offensive 2 defensive starters with 14 letterman lost from a (13-1) 1A Quarterfinal playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (cornerback).  Notes from the Coach: The team will improve though the year. We will have several soph's that will have to mature quickly.
Flatonia  - Coach David Sine (23-20-0) at Flatonia and (23-20-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (4-3), returns 8 letterman 7 offensive 8 defensive starters with 5 letterman lost from a (6-4) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, receiver, offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: With graduation to Shiner and Falls City, this could be the best year for Flatonia since 2002.
Louise  - Coach Kevin Wiatrek (7-13-0) at Louise and (7-13-0) Overall, returns 12 letterman 7 offensive 7 defensive starters with 7 letterman lost from a (3-7) team. 
Pettus  - Coach Steve Marbach, Offense (I), Defense (50), returns 16 letterman 6 offensive 7 defensive starters with 6 letterman lost from a (1-9) team.  Strengths on offense (quarterback), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We still will be very young and have moved into a tough district.  We are going to have to over-achieve to get many district wins.
Runge  - Coach Jesse House (4-6-0) at Runge and (4-6-0) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (50), returns 16 letterman 9 offensive 9 defensive starters with 4 letterman lost from a (4-6) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: Should be able to throw the ball more effectively.  Better routes and timing with the quarterback.  The defense will be young but much faster than last years team.
Shiner  - Coach Steve Cerny (25-4-0) at Shiner and (25-4-0) Overall, Offense (Veer), Defense (4-3), returns 13 letterman 4 offensive 6 defensive starters with 13 letterman lost from a (14-2) 1A State Finalist playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach:  Our strength will be our defense with the return of our 3 linebackers.  We lost a lot of our skill players and will have to rebuild our secondary.  We also lost a lot of key lineman and will have to rebuild these positions.
Woodsboro  - Coach Johnny Gardner (7-4-0) at Woodsboro and (13-46-1) Overall, Offense (Shotgun Spread), Defense (50), returns 7 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 12 letterman lost from a (7-4) 1A Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach:  Possibly a playoff team.  The defense will have to improve in the new district.  Quality starters returning will help.  We will have great leadership from the senior class.  Biggest concern right now is replacing the kicking game.
