Team Outlook
Fort Hancock  - Coach Joe Cabezvela, Offense (Multiple), Defense (50), returns 16 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 3 letterman lost from a (1-9) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (defensive line, linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We have a young team and have to get used to a new system and new head coach.
Iraan  - Coach Benny W. Granger (8-2-0) at Iraan and (83-49-2) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (5-2), returns 12 letterman 7 offensive 7 defensive starters with 14 letterman lost from a (8-2) team.  Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: The offensive line could be our strength if they stay healthy.  The team could have a good year.  We have two good quarterbacks; they will both be on the field when we have the ball.
Marfa - Coach Chris Henson (9-2-0) at Marfa and (9-2-0) Overall, Offense (Wing T), Defense (Split 6), returns 20 letterman 8 offensive 7 defensive starters with 6 letterman lost from a (9-2) 2A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back, punter).  Notes from the Coach: Offensive line will have to step up this year, lost 3 all-district linemen.  Backfield and receivers all return.  Defensively - defensive line will need to improve and we will start two new defensive linemen.  Have great team speed, the line will be smaller but very quick.
McCamey - Coach Jay McWilliams (26-18-0) at McCamey and (56-47-2) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (4-3), returns 11 letterman 6 offensive 5 defensive starters with 9 letterman lost from a (5-5) 1A Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: This year's team will be loaded with skill players.  We will also have 11 solid seniors.  Younger offensive lineman must step up for us to be good.
Van Horn  - Coach Frederico Lujan (2-6-0) at Van Horn and (3-25-0) Overall, Offense (Wing T), Defense (Multiple 50), returns 19 letterman 7 offensive 9 defensive starters with 6 letterman lost from a (2-6) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back, receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker cornerback, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: We expect the team to be stronger and more physical.  A better grasp of the offense will help.  Being more physical will assist us greatly on both sides of the ball.
Wink  - Coach Max McGehee (9-2-0) at Wink and (47-58-1) Overall, returns 18 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 9 letterman lost from a (9-2) 1A Area playoff team.
