Team Outlook
Dilley  - Coach Kelly Shull (127-82-3) at Dilley and (127-82-3) Overall, returns 19 letterman 9 offensive 9 defensive starters with 3 letterman lost from a (4-7) 2A Div. II Bi-district playoff team. 
Jourdanton  - Coach Michael L. Fox (0-0-0) at Jourdanton and (44-59-1) Overall, Offense (T-Formation), Defense (5-3), returns 13 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 18 letterman lost from a (1-9) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: With a new program, we hope to turn things around immediately.  We will drop from 3A to 2A and will have a better chance to compete.  Our numbers could be very good and if we can develop the work ethic and attitude necessary to win and compete the year or season looks very promising.
Natalia  - Coach Jim Amberson, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (4-3), returns 17 letterman 9 offensive 8 defensive starters with 9 letterman lost from a (6-5) 2A Div. I Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line, linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: team strength will be experience and speed will be our weakness.
Poth  - Coach Jerry Bonewald (74-25-0) at Poth and (125-74-3) Overall, Offense (Veer), Defense (Split 6), returns 15 letterman 7 offensive 6 defensive starters with 14 letterman lost from a (8-5) 2A Div. II Regional playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back), Strengths on defense (defensive line, cornerback).  Notes from the Coach: We should be a lot better on offense that last year.  Our defense has some holes to fill.  Due to a small senior class, we should have to depend on some sophomores to help.  We should be a pretty good football team by the time district rolls around.
San Antonio Gervin Academy - Coach Daryl Richardson, Offense (Option), Defense (34).  Notes from the Coach: Being a first year program, we are looking for Jarvis Price, Danny Clarke, and Deon Baker to bring the competitive nature that was displayed during there playoff run in basketball during the 03-04 season.  The key to a successful season will be the endurance of Doug Jiminez and Torien Lyons.  We will also need some consistent play from Carlos Griffin and running backs Brian Scoot, Maurice Curtis and Jowanna Clarke.
Stockdale  - Coach Andrew King, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (4-3), returns 12 letterman 4 offensive 5 defensive starters with 15 letterman lost from a (2-8) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We are going to be young and will have to grow up quickly.  Spenser Lambeck will have to step in and take over at quarterback and be our offensive leader.  Defensively, Zach Thompson must come through and have a solid year if we want to be in the playoffs
