Team Outlook
Buna  - Coach Bradley Morgan (15-36-0) at Buna and (15-36-0) Overall, returns 11 letterman 5 offensive 4 defensive starters with 4 letterman lost from a (2-8) team.
Coldspring-Oakhurst  - Coach Ralph E. Lymas (3-7-0) at Coldspring-Oakhurst and (58-70-2) Overall, Offense (I), Defense (4-3), returns 25 letterman 7 offensive 8 defensive starters with 4 letterman lost from a (3-7) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back, offensive line, kicker), Strengths on defense (defensive line, cornerback, punter).  Notes from the Coach: We believe that with a great track season, our season will be much improved on the football field.  We have some key players who must step up to help the Trojans.
Jasper  - Coach Danny Lauve (23-5-0) at Jasper and (23-5-0) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (4-3), returns 18 letterman 6 offensive 8 defensive starters with 22 letterman lost from a (12-2) 3A Div. I Semifinal playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back, receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: We need great senior leadership - the majority of them have playoff experience and know what it takes.  We'll need to have some offensive linemen come through but the good thing is, we have several to choose from.  We return most of our skill kids - should be better in that area.  The sophomore QB could be the key.  If he comes around, it allows us to move our best athlete to RB/FS.
Kirbyville  - Coach Jack Alvarez (20-21-0) at Kirbyville and (30-32-0) Overall, returns 22 letterman 8 offensive 9 defensive starters with 5 letterman lost from a (6-4) team.
Shepherd  - Coach Donald Hubbard (2-8-0) at Shepherd and (39-38-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple I / One Back), Defense (4-3), returns 14 letterman 8 offensive 6 defensive starters with 7 letterman lost from a (2-8) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: Skill positions on offense are returning letterman.  The QB Hubbard connection to WR Reeves will be a major force if the offensive line holds steady.  A stronger running game will enhance a more balanced attack as well.  Defensively, our team will continue to run the ball and pursue with aggression.  Our linebackers are the core of our defense and are very aggressive and big.
Silsbee  - Coach Bobby McGallion (24-42-0) at Silsbee and (97-76-3) Overall, returns 9 letterman 8 offensive 5 defensive starters with 6 letterman lost from a (0-10) team.
