| Anahauc - Coach Gary Martel (26-16-0) at Anahauc and (26-16-0) Overall, Offense (Pro I Multiple), Defense (Split ), returns 22 letterman 4 offensive 9 defensive starters with 18 letterman lost from a (9-2) 3A Div. II Bi-district playoff team. Overall Strength (defense). Notes from the Coach: Defense will have to carry us early while our offense matures. We must find a free safety and inside LB. We feel good about our defensive front. All 4 defensive line starters return with good backups. We need our secondary to improve against the pass. We will have great competition for our QB spot, this will only make them better. The job will go to the player that can move the offense and handle pressure. Our offensive linemen must step up and be ready for district play. We have had good offensive lines in the past and we do not expect that to change. The running back job is open and there is some good talent fighting for that spot. We have some height at receiver and good speed. |
