Team Outlook
Canutillo - Coach Scott Brooks (25-27-0) at Canutillo and (25-27-0) Overall, Offense (I / One back), Defense (Split 4-2-5), returns 17 letterman 3 offensive 4 defensive starters with 18 letterman lost from a (9-3) 4A Div. II Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: We need to find a TB, QB and they need to mature quickly.  The offensive line needs to gel as a unit.  The defense will probably be better this year.
El Paso - Coach Ron Dentinger (0-10-0) at El Paso and (0-10-0) Overall, Offense (Open I), Defense (53), returns 13 letterman 4 offensive 7 defensive starters with 11 letterman lost from a (0-10) team.  Strengths on offense (quarterback, receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: Last year was suppose to be and was a frustrating season.  The offense returns the starting QB, TB, FB and 3 WR's.  The defense returns 3 linebackers and 3 in the secondary. More dedication and leadership is being shown this off-season.  The team will be competitive in all games.
El Paso Chapin - Coach Daren Walker (17-5-0) at El Paso Chapinand (17-5-0) Overall, Offense (One Back Gun), Defense (Split 50), returns 18 letterman 3 offensive 6 defensive starters with 28 letterman lost from a (11-1) 4A Div. II Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: We must find eight new starters on offense - including the QB position.  There will some inexperience and growing pains on offense.  Defense returns six players that should be our strong points.  Our young kicker has the potential to be all-district.
El Paso Andress  - Coach Allan Sepkowitz (195-111-3) at El Paso Andress and (195-111-3) Overall, Offense (I / I Back), Defense (Split), returns 16 letterman 5 offensive 4 defensive starters with 17 letterman lost from a (10-2) 5A Div.
