Paris - Coach Brent Southworth (10-10-0) at Parisand (10-10-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (4-2-5), returns 11 letterman 4 offensive 5 defensive starters with 22 letterman lost from a (4-6) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: Must get production our of 2-year JV QB Matt Shores (Jr.) .  Sr. OL Bryan Glass and Marcel Cooke must provide leadership for a young offensive line.  Sr. Anquion McCuin must maintain his 1st All-district performance.  Defense will be more athletic than in 2003 and much faster.  Sr. OLB/DE Marcus Brown, Sr. S Brandon Ashley and Sr. CB Quen Smith must have big years.  Team will need to find a new kicker and punter from the soccer team.
Sulphur Springs  - Coach Brad Turner (15-17-0) at Sulphur Springs and (52-26-0) Overall, Offense (Spread / No Huddle), Defense (3-4), returns 23 letterman 6 offensive 3 defensive starters with 22 letterman lost from a (8-3) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (receiver, offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach:  Our JV went 10-0 last year.  We lost some key players on defense (line) and we have to find a QB.  Our offensive line and receivers should be good.  As long as we fill in some of the spots, we will be good.
Texarkana Texas High - Coach Barry Norton (49-13-0) at Texarkana Texas Highand (49-13-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (4-3), returns 15 letterman 2 offensive 5 defensive starters with 25 letterman lost from a (13-1) 4A Div. I Semifinal playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We will be inexperienced in some areas this year, but we have really good young players to step in to help.
Paris/NL North Lamar  - Coach Tommy Felty (32-40-0) at Paris/NL North Lamar and (32-40-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (Split), returns 17 letterman 8 offensive 8 defensive starters with 13 letterman lost from a (6-5) 3A Div. I Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We are a more mature team than we were last year.  We will be good in the skill positions.  We have 1 or 2 gaps to fill in the offensive line, which leaves a question mark.  We will be physical on defense, but we will be young in the secondary.
