Hallsville  - Coach Roger E. Adams (38-28-0) at Hallsville and (38-28-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (Multiple), returns 20 letterman 6 offensive 8 defensive starters with 28 letterman lost from a (8-4) 4A Div. II Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense  (defensive line, linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: Can be the best since 1999.  Need for offensive line to firm up to help our stable of running backs.  Defense could be very strong.  Need to replace all state punter and find a kicker.
Henderson  - Coach Reid Waller (12-11-0) at Henderson and (12-11-0) Overall, Offense (One Back), Defense (4-3), returns 14 letterman 5 offensive 3 defensive starters with 12 letterman lost from a (3-8) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back, receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We are young and leadership will be a key factor.
Jacksonville  - Coach Randy Copeland (5-6-0) at Jacksonville and (55-17-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple Wing T), Defense (3-4), returns 28 letterman 8 offensive 9 defensive starters with 11 letterman lost from a (5-6) 4A Div. I Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback), Strengths on defense (defensive line).
Kilgore  - Coach Mike Vallery (77-29-1) at Kilgore and (77-29-1) Overall, Offense (I), Defense (4-3), returns 13 letterman 6 offensive 7 defensive starters with 15 letterman lost from a (12-2) 4A Div. II Quarterfinal playoff team.  Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (defensive line).
Longview/PT Pine Tree  - Coach Tim Russell (0-0-0) at Longview/PT Pine Tree and (22-11-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (50), returns 18 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 16 letterman lost from a (2-8) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: We feel that our team will continue to improve throughout the year.
Marshall  - Coach Rodney Southern (6-14-0) at Marshall and (6-14-0) Overall, Offense (I - Back), Defense (4-3), returns 23 letterman 7 offensive 6 defensive starters with 18 letterman lost from a (5-5) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (running back, offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: We return 7 offensive starters led be QB CJ Byrd and RB Jackie Robinson.  We averaged 367.8 yards per game last year and it should be better this year.  Jackie Robinson rushed for 1394 yards as a soph., and will continue to progress.  Defensively, we return six of our back seven defensive players with a good group of young defensive linemen.  Our overall team speed should be better this year.
Nacogdoches  - Coach Chuck Caniford (4-16-0) at Nacogdoches and (4-16-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (4-3), returns 22 letterman 7 offensive 5 defensive starters with 25 letterman lost from a (3-7) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back, offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We expect to be extremely improved in 2004.  We made considerable improvement in 2003, but kept class together on JV to build a winning attitude.   JV finished 8-2 in 2003 and many of those players will be starters in 2004.  Have excellent depth at RB and LB and will be much faster at all positions.  This will be the 3rd year with this system for the players and their knowledge and confidence should translate into success.
Whitehouse  - Coach Randy McFarlin (0-0-0) at Whitehouse and (60-17-0) Overall, returns 14 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 17 letterman lost from a (1-9) team.
