Notes from the Coach: We return 7 offensive starters led be QB CJ Byrd and RB Jackie Robinson. We averaged 367.8 yards per game last year and it should be better this year. Jackie Robinson rushed for 1394 yards as a soph., and will continue to progress. Defensively, we return six of our back seven defensive players with a good group of young defensive linemen. Our overall team speed should be better this year. |

Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back, offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker). Notes from the Coach: We expect to be extremely improved in 2004. We made considerable improvement in 2003, but kept class together on JV to build a winning attitude. JV finished 8-2 in 2003 and many of those players will be starters in 2004. Have excellent depth at RB and LB and will be much faster at all positions. This will be the 3rd year with this system for the players and their knowledge and confidence should translate into success. |
