Team Outlook
Brenham - Coach Glen West (51-20-0) at Brenham and (92-43-1) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (Multiple), returns 22 letterman 8 offensive 8 defensive starters with 22 letterman lost from a (5-5) team.  Overall Strength (both offense and defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back, offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line, linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: We have an experienced ball club.  Our lines and backs should be good.  The only two questions are going to be at kicker and receiver.  We also need to build up our 2nd team depth.
Conroe Caney Creek  - Coach Allan Sapp (25-28-0) at Conroe Caney Creek and (25-28-0) Overall, returns 16 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 20 letterman lost from a (1-9) team.

Montgomery  - Coach Pat Fulbright (3-7-0) at Montgomery and (14-19-0) Overall, returns 23 letterman 6 offensive 5 defensive starters with 25 letterman lost from a (3-7) team. 
New Caney  - Coach Jim Taylor (28-43-0) at New Caney and (28-43-0) Overall, Offense (I Back), Defense (4-3), returns 20 letterman 4 offensive 9 defensive starters with 23 letterman lost from a (7-4) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach:  Our defense is returning 9 starters from a defense that allowed only 275 yards per game last year.  Our defense has three LB's coming back.  Offensively, we have all three receivers coming back.  Two of them were 1st team all-district.  Someone must step-up at the RB position this spring.  The offensive line is inexperienced.
Waller  - Coach Jim Phillips (74-70-0) at Waller and (80-84-0) Overall, Offense (Option Spread), Defense (5-2), returns 18 letterman 3 offensive 5 defensive starters with 26 letterman lost from a (8-5) 4A Div. II Regional playoff team. 
Willis  - Coach Rick Cullum (6-5-0) at Willis and (27-35-0) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (4-2-5), returns 21 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 21 letterman lost from a (6-5) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (both offense and defense), Strengths on offense (running back, offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: New system (New coaching staff) put in last season.  Kids are more accustomed to new offense and defense.  Receivers will have to step up to replace graduates.  Team chemistry is much better.   We expect to compete for the district championship.
