Team Outlook
Crosby  - Coach Kevin Flanigan (0-0-0) at Crosby and (43-35-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (Multiple), returns 23 letterman 6 offensive 10 defensive starters with 12 letterman lost from a (8-4) 4A Div. II Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach:  This team out scored people by an avg. of 38 points a game.  Must have the experienced defense step it up.  Offense will be bigger with having playoff experience will help this squad play better and with confidence.
Dayton  - Coach Jerry Stewart (67-27-0) at Dayton and (99-47-3) Overall, returns 10 letterman 6 offensive 1 defensive starters with 24 letterman lost from a (10-2) 4A Div. I Regional playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker, cornerback).  Notes from the Coach: This year's team will be a challenge just because we are replacing 10 starters on defense.  The good thing about it is that we will have a faster defense on the field, just not with the experience.  Offensively we should be fine.  We will replace 3 offensive lineman but we will have good skill kids outside.  Our QB and RB will be a strong point as we look for both of these players to be 1500 yd rushers in our offense.
Galena Park  - Coach Mike Coker (21-29-0) at Galena Park and (36-45-0) Overall, Offense (Gun / Pro I), Defense (Multiple 4-3), returns 11 letterman 3 offensive 2 defensive starters with 25 letterman lost from a (7-3) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: We will be very young and the lack of team speed and size will be a factor.  Several young players will have to emerge as we as a new quarterback.
Houston/NF Forest Brook  - Coach Marshall White (2-8-0) at Houston/NF Forest Brook and (2-8-0) Overall, returns 22 letterman 1 offensive 3 defensive starters with 24 letterman lost from a (2-8) team. 
Houston/NF Smiley  - Coach Barry G. Ford (1-28-0) at Houston/NF Smiley and (1-28-0) Overall, Offense (Multi-Pro), Defense (8 man front), returns 14 letterman 7 offensive 5 defensive starters with 17 letterman lost from a (0-10) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back, offensive line. kicker), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: It has taken 3 years to incorporate a base system.  Now, 2004 will be much better of understanding the system, students have high expectations.
Sheldon C.E. King  - Coach Mike Malkowski (43-35-0) at Sheldon C.E. King and (43-35-0) Overall, Offense (Flex-bone), Defense (4-2-5), returns 15 letterman 6 offensive 5 defensive starters with 20 letterman lost from a (8-4) 4A Div. II Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: We must replace 4 offensive linemen, 3 defensive linemen, and 1 linebacker.  All candidates will come from the JV and freshman squads
