Team Outlook
Clint  - Coach Frank Durant (5-15-0) at Clint and (5-15-0) Overall, Offense (West Coast), Defense (4-3), returns 16 letterman 4 offensive 7 defensive starters with 17 letterman lost from a (2-8) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker, cornerback).
Clint Horizon - Coach Robert Morales, Offense (Spread I Back), Defense (Split), Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: This year will be the 1st year that Horizon competes in a varsity schedule.  We will have juniors and sophomores on the varsity squad so we will be very inexperienced and young.  We will have to concentrate on defense and try to spread out the offense and throw the ball.  We will be solid at the skill positions but very thin on the line.
Clint Mountain View  - Coach Mike Jackson (0-0-0) at Clint Mountain View and (31-20-0) Overall, Offense (One Back), Defense (Split), returns 24 letterman 6 offensive 7 defensive starters with 16 letterman lost from a (7-4) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: Good strength grows in off-season.  Better overall speed at skill positions.  We need to solidify offensive unity.
El Paso Parkland  - Coach Jerry Walker (42-34-0) at El Paso Parkland and (42-34-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (5-2), returns 16 letterman 6 offensive 6 defensive starters with 13 letterman lost from a (7-4) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (running back, receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive back, punter).  Notes from the Coach: Not much experience on the offensive line.  We will have an untested JV QB.  The defense will be expected to give up fewer points this year.
El Paso/Y Del Valle - Coach Stan McGarvey (12-9-0) at El Paso/Y Del Valle and (12-9-0) Overall, returns 20 letterman 8 offensive 5 defensive starters with 23 letterman lost from a (5-5) team.
El Paso/Y Riverside - Coach Tom Work (102-33-3) at El Paso/Y Riverside and (102-33-3) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (3-4), returns 23 letterman 8 offensive 5 defensive starters with 21 letterman lost from a (10-3) 4A Div. I Quarterfinal playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back, receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive line, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach:  We return 7 All-district , 1st team performers.  SE, TE, RB, and RG return offense.  Both Defensive tackles on defense and the OLB also return.  Tremendous skill people return and a district champion JV team will help. The Rangers, winners of four consecutive district crowns, and sever straight Bi-district titles and added an Area Championship in 2003 and are hungry for more.  We have not lost a district game since 1999.  QB will need to step up to replace El Paso Player of the Year - Robert Gallegos.
El Paso/Y Ysleta - Coach Steve Carri (29-27-0) at El Paso/Y Ysleta and (29-27-0) Overall, returns 20 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 18 letterman lost from a (3-7) team.
