Team Outlook
Houston Davis  - Coach Chuck Arnold (43-88-1) at Houston Davis and (43-88-1) Overall, Offense (I), Defense (5-2), returns 14 letterman 4 offensive 5 defensive starters with 12 letterman lost from a (7-4) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: We expect to be in the hunt for the title.  Someone needs to step up in the running game to fill the vacancy.
Houston Furr  - Coach Cornell Gray (0-10-0) at Houston Furr and (0-10-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple Pro Set), Defense (4-2-5), returns 25 letterman 10 offensive 10 defensive starters with 4 letterman lost from a (0-10) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (running back, receiver, offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line, cornerback, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: As a team we will be much better, we started 12 freshmen last year along with 5 sophomores and 3 juniors and only 3 seniors. The previous year I was the offensive coach and we had 28 seniors on that squad without a JV or freshman team.  The team went 6-4.  Several outstanding sophomores and juniors will feature this upcoming season. 
Houston Jones  - Coach Roland Rogers (65-74-1) at Houston Jones and (65-74-1) Overall, returns 17 letterman 8 offensive 8 defensive starters with 6 letterman lost from a (6-4) team. 
Houston Kashmere  - Coach Garry Dunham (9-2-0) at Houston Kashmere and (9-2-0) Overall, Offense (Veer), Defense (5-2), returns 29 letterman 6 offensive 9 defensive starters with 16 letterman lost from a (9-2) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back), Strengths on defense (defensive line, linebacker).  Notes from the Coach:  This should be a stronger team with the number of returning letterman from last year's team. 
Houston Reagan  - Coach Harry Colon, returns 24 letterman 9 offensive 9 defensive starters with 6 letterman lost from a (2-8) team. 
Houston Scarborough  - Coach Devin Heasley (16-54-0) at Houston Scarborough and (17-73-0) Overall, returns 16 letterman 6 offensive 5 defensive starters with 0 letterman lost from a (2-8) team. 
Houston Sharpstown  - Coach Gene Duty (2-8-0) at Houston Sharpstown and (2-8-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (4-3), returns 6 letterman 5 offensive 1 defensive starters with 3 letterman lost from a (2-8) team.  Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (secondary).  Notes from the Coach:  This team will be better than last year.
