Team Outlook
Brownsville Lopez  - Coach Valentin Montemayo (29-33-0) at Brownsville Lopez and (29-33-0) Overall, returns 16 letterman 6 offensive 5 defensive starters with 21 letterman lost from a (2-7) team. 
Edcouch-Elsa  - Coach Joe Solis (7-3-0) at Edcouch-Elsa and (45-43-1) Overall, Offense (Slot T), returns 36 letterman 8 offensive 6 defensive starters with 23 letterman lost from a (7-3) 4A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back, offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line, linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: After one year at the job, I expect better execution of our offense and defense.  Offensively, our squad should be balanced with a strong running game and passing game.  A lot of experience comes back on offense, which averaged over 400 yards a game the last 4 games.
