Team Outlook
Cedar Park - Coach Mark Weaver (17-24-0) at Cedar Park and (94-85-4) Overall, Offense (I / Gun), Defense (Split), returns 19 letterman 7 offensive 7 defensive starters with 8 letterman lost from a (3-7) team.  Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: Need to improve on defense.  Some key players may have to play both ways.
Georgetown - Coach Larry Moore (47-59-0) at Georgetown and (54-72-0) Overall, returns 24 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 32 letterman lost from a (4-6) team. 
Leander  - Coach Steve Gideon (12-2-0) at Leander and (35-22-1) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (Split), returns 21 letterman 3 offensive 5 defensive starters with 23 letterman lost from a (12-2) 5A Div. II Quarterfinal playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (offensive line, kicker), Strengths on defense (defensive line, linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: Strengths for this year's team: quickness, toughness, and recent tradition. Weakness for this year's team will be trying to find replacements for outstanding graduates and lack of experience.

Round Rock - Coach Lanny Wilson (4-6-0) at Round Rock and (4-6-0) Overall, Offense (I), Defense (Split), returns 16 letterman 4 offensive 3 defensive starters, with 18 letterman lost from a (4-6) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: We expect to make the playoffs.
Round Rock McNeil  - Coach Robert Wilcox (11-10-0) at Round Rock McNeil  and (75-41-0) Overall, Offense (I Back), Defense (50), returns 18 letterman 2 offensive 6 defensive starters with 34 letterman lost from a (7-4) 5A Div. I Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: Good starters back on defense.  The offense will depend on an 8-2 JV.
Round Rock Stony Point - Coach Craig Chessher, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (Multiple 4-3), returns 12 letterman 2 offensive 3 defensive starters with 38 letterman lost from a (1-9) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: goal is to be more competitive, structured, and physical.
Round Rock Westwood - Coach Doug Fertsch (6-4-0) at Round Rock Westwood and (55-36-2) Overall, Offense (I Back), Defense (8 Man front), returns 15 letterman 2 offensive 2 defensive starters with 40 letterman lost from a (6-4) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, running back), Strengths on defense (defensive line, cornerback).  Notes from the Coach: The 2004 Warriors will be a team with many new faces because of graduating over 40 senoirs.  Senior QB Clint Bricker (6'1 205) will be looked upon to lead the way for a very inexperienced offense.  Bricker started the last game of the 2003 campaign racking up 200 yards passing and 50 yards on the ground.  Helping Bricker lead the way will be WR Aex Bourdeau (5'11'' 170), RB Charles McCann (5'9'' 170), and OL Glenn Revell (5'11'' 250).  McCann will earn his third varsity letter this fall and has been a solid contributor for the Warriors.  Bourdeau, who had a solid year in 2003, is a returning All-district selection, as is Revell who started every game at left guard on the Warrior's offensive line and recorded 90 knockdowns blocks during his juniors season.  Other returning lettermen include OL Matt Hansen and WR Ryan Wiederkerher, both of whom are projected starters this fall.  The defense returns two starters, both on the defensive line. Jon Masch (6'0'' 240, 1st All-district), and Marc Jansing (6'2'' 235) will be counted on to lead the defense.  Masch and Jansing are both in the 300 pound bench club and runs sub 4.9 in the 40. Severall other players are expected to contribute this season.
