Notes from the Coach: The 2004 Warriors will be a team with many new faces because of graduating over 40 senoirs. Senior QB Clint Bricker (6'1 205) will be looked upon to lead the way for a very inexperienced offense. Bricker started the last game of the 2003 campaign racking up 200 yards passing and 50 yards on the ground. Helping Bricker lead the way will be WR Aex Bourdeau (5'11'' 170), RB Charles McCann (5'9'' 170), and OL Glenn Revell (5'11'' 250). McCann will earn his third varsity letter this fall and has been a solid contributor for the Warriors. Bourdeau, who had a solid year in 2003, is a returning All-district selection, as is Revell who started every game at left guard on the Warrior's offensive line and recorded 90 knockdowns blocks during his juniors season. Other returning lettermen include OL Matt Hansen and WR Ryan Wiederkerher, both of whom are projected starters this fall. The defense returns two starters, both on the defensive line. Jon Masch (6'0'' 240, 1st All-district), and Marc Jansing (6'2'' 235) will be counted on to lead the defense. Masch and Jansing are both in the 300 pound bench club and runs sub 4.9 in the 40. Severall other players are expected to contribute this season. |
