Austin Akins - Coach Phil Bounds (8-12-0) at Austin Akins and (20-30-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple 1 to 2 Back), Defense (4-3 Multiple), returns 18 letterman 9 offensive 6 defensive starters with 7 letterman lost from a (3-7) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (running back, kicker), Strengths on defense (cornerback).  Notes from the Coach: A good core of returnees will lead a young team.  The OL/DL play will be a key to our success this year.  The secondary will lead the defense with the most experience.  We will be able to score effectively through the kicking game lead by a 2 year starter.
Austin Anderson  - Coach Trent Gregory (33-40-0) at Austin Anderson and (33-40-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (Split), returns 24 letterman 7 offensive 8 defensive starters with 18 letterman lost from a (7-4) 4A Div. I Bi-district playoff team.  Strengths on offense (receiver, kicker), Strengths on defense (cornerback, punter).  Notes from the Coach: Anderson won the District 26-4A Championship for the first time in the history of the school last year.  We moved up in classification to 16-5A.  We bring back experienced and depth.
Austin Bowie - Coach Jeff Ables (13-8-0) at Austin Bowie and (13-8-0) Overall, returns 30 letterman 8 offensive 8 defensive starters with 16 letterman lost from a (4-6) team.
Austin Crockett  - Coach John Waugh (25-48-0) at Austin Crockett and (25-48-0) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (4-3), returns 20 letterman 8 offensive 6 defensive starters with 15 letterman lost from a (1-9) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (quarterback), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: Offensively, we need to improve our pass protection as well as the ability to run the football.  Defensively, we will need to improve on the defensive line and continue to improve our tackling skills.
Austin SFA High - Coach Rodney Vincent, Offense (Multiple), Defense (4-2-5), returns 17 letterman 2 offensive 6 defensive starters with 21 letterman lost from a (5-5) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (kicker), Strengths on defense (cornerback, defensive back, punter).  Notes from the Coach: With a new coach, Austin hopes to better the 5-5 mark of last year.
Austin/Eanes Westlake - Coach Derek Long (9-5-0) at Austin/Eanes Westlake and (9-5-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (3-4), returns 29 letterman 7 offensive 3 defensive starters from a (9-5) 5A Div. I Semi Final playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense  (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach: Should be better organized this year and hopefully stronger.
Bastrop - Coach David Halbrook (28-20-0) at Bastrop and (100-50-5) Overall, Offense (Wing), Defense (50), returns 18 letterman 5 offensive 6 defensive starters with 19 letterman lost from a (6-6) 4A Div. II Area playoff team.  Strengths on offense (running back, receiver, kicker), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach: The move up a classification from 4A to 5A is always a challenge.  I expect our kids to compete at the same level of competitiveness we have in the past.
Buda Hays Consolidated  - Coach Bob Shelton (238-145-3) at Buda Hays Consolidated and (263-158-7) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (4-3), returns 20 letterman 5 offensive 3 defensive starters with 40 letterman lost from a (9-3) 5A Div. II Area playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach: We have a strong tradition.  We will have to play hard to reach our expectations.
