| Houston/C-F Cypress Creek - Coach Greg McCaig (6-14-0) at Houston/C-F Cypress Creek and (35-40-0) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (4-3), returns 19 letterman 6 offensive 4 defensive starters with 33 letterman lost from a (4-6) team. Overall Strength (both offense and defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback, receiver, kicker), Strengths on defense (cornerback, defensive back). Notes from the Coach: The 2004 team will be faster overall than last year. The offensive line has 2 returning All-district players - Marc Keppner and Mathew Collins. QB will be either Ryan Krone or Josh Hudson. Our receivers will be faster collectively. They will be lead by returning All-district WR Jacob Hudson. John Corb and Dexter Williams split time at running back in 2003 and both return. Jeff Turner will do an outstanding job at kicker. The defense returns (2) returning letterman at safety. Paul Rushing (2nd Team All-district in 2004) and Travis Cloud. Defensive ends will be fast and athletic - Both juniors to be - George Johnson and Logan Kelly, both played last year. Notes from the Coach: With 13 starters returning and a great off season. We are expecting to make the playoffs in 2004. Senior leadership and staying healthy are the keys to success for the Golden Eagles. The offensive line (Jon Luada, Travis Best, Kyle Vansant, Matt Stricker and Oscar Martinez) will lead the offense.
