Team Outlook
San Antonio Highlands - Coach Edward Rowley (15-26-0) at San Antonio Highlands and (15-26-0) Overall, returns 15 letterman 5 offensive 6 defensive starters with 20 letterman lost from a (4-6) team. 
San Antonio/EC East Central  - Coach Lynn Stewart (5-6-0) at San Antonio/EC East Central and (45-45-2) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (4-3), returns 15 letterman 6 offensive 3 defensive starters with 15 letterman lost from a (5-6) 5A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (receiver, offensive line).  Notes from the Coach: We will be a young team who will improve throughout the year.  Most of our experience comes from the offensive line and receives.  If we get our front seven on defense and our QB situation to come through we could have an excellent year.
San Antonio/SW Southwest  - Coach Manuel Valles (14-18-0) at San Antonio/SW Southwest and (14-18-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (4-3), returns 17 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 25 letterman lost from a (5-6) 5A Div. I Bi-district playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back, punter).  Notes from the Coach:  We will have to make up for lack of speed with effort and discipline.  Need to develop better team chemistry.  Must find another back and develop the offensive and defensive lines.
San Marcos  - Coach Bruce Bush (61-20-0) at San Marcos and (225-90-8) Overall, Offense (Slot T), Defense (Split), returns 18 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 26 letterman lost from a (9-2) 5A Div. II Bi-district playoff team.  Notes from the Coach:  Although we are remaining in District 25-5A, we will be competing against teams that were in three other districts due to the realignment of 2004. 
San Antonio Jefferson - Coach Brian Clancy, returns 18 letterman 7 offensive 1 defensive starters with 18 lettermen lost from a (2-8) team. 
Schertz Clemens  - Coach Robert Lehnhoff (174-77-4) at Schertz Clemens and (174-77-4) Overall, Offense (Wing T), Defense (4-3), returns 14 letterman 3 offensive 4 defensive starters with 40 letterman lost from a (13-2) 5A Div. II Semi Final playoff team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (linebacker).  Notes from the Coach:  We should have a good football team.  Good offense, defense may come around.  The kicking game could be a problem.
