Team Outlook
Balmorhea - Coach Adolfo Garcia (6-4-0) at Balmorhea and (6-4-0) Overall, Offense (Tight Pro-Set), Defense (3-1-2), returns 20 letterman 2 offensive 3 defensive starters with 5 letterman lost from a (6-4) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (receiver, offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line, cornerback).  Notes from the Coach:  What I expect out of this year's squad is a winning attitude.   I expect them to be stronger, faster, and quicker.  This will be the first time in school history that we will have an off-season program.  The seniors will have to step up and produce.  They will have experience on their side.
Dell City  - Coach Open, returns 10 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 2 letterman lost from a (4-5) team.
Fort Davis  - Coach Lonnie Flippen, returns 13 letterman 1 offensive 3 defensive starters with 9 letterman lost from a (13-2) Sixman State Finalist playoff team.
Grandfalls-Royalty  - Coach Clint Lowry (6-14-0) at Grandfalls-Royalty and (23-21-0) Overall, Offense (T and Wing), Defense (3-1-2), returns 5 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 3 letterman lost from a (4-6) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back).   Notes from the Coach:  We were very young last year.  We will still be young overall this year, but we will be quicker and stronger this year and more experienced.  I'm really looking forward to next season with this group of young men
Imperial Buena Vista  - Coach Mark Dominguez (1-6-0) at Imperial Buena Vista and (1-6-0) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (3-1-2), returns 6 letterman 4 offensive 4 defensive starters with 2 letterman lost from a (1-6) team.  Overall Strength (offense), Strengths on offense (offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line).  Notes from the Coach:  This years team should be able to finish the season.  Last year we had to forfeit the second half of our season due to injuries.  Freshman will have to step up and compete for the starting jobs offensively and defensively.  We will be real young with about six freshmen and four upperclassman.  I expect for my squad to compete as best as we possibly can with the numbers we have.
Marathon  - Coach Fernando Hernandez from a (0-0) team.
Sanderson  - Coach Vance Jones (76-18-0) at Sanderson and (119-58-1) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (3-1-2), returns 14 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 8 letterman lost from a (11-2) Sixman Quarterfinal playoff team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back, receiver, offensive line), Strengths on defense (defensive line, linebacker, cornerback).  Notes from the Coach: We will start out much stronger defensively than last year.  Our offense will good by the time district starts.  We have to find a QB.
Sierra Blanca  - Coach Charles "Bubba" Ross (3-6-0) at Sierra Blanca and (19-29-0) Overall, Offense (Jaybird), Defense (3-3), returns 11 letterman 5 offensive 4 defensive starters with 3 letterman lost from a (3-6) team.  Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (running back), Strengths on defense (defensive back).  Notes from the Coach:  Last year was Coach Ross first year with the team, so with a whole year together our philosophy and understanding of terminology has benefited us as a team.  We finished third in district after a slow start finishing with a two game winning streak.  We must stay healthy to compete in district.
