Team Outlook

Sulphur Springs Wildcats  (Blue, Gold) - Head Coach Brad Turner -  (24-20-0) @ Sulphur Springs and  (62-29-0) Overall, Offense (Spread), Defense (4-2-5), returns 19 letterman 7 offensive 2 defensive starters with 29 letterman lost from a (9-3) Div. II Area playoff team.   SS returns (3) 1st All-District players.  JV record (5-5), Freshman (3-7).  Overall Strength - offense, Offensive strength - quarterback, offensive line, Defensive strength - linebacker.   Notes from the Coach: Offensive line should be as good as any in the state.  QB is All-State, and the RB will be strong.  The WR's will have to come on.  The offense should be good.  The defense has to rebuild, won't be as athletic but will be very tough.  Kicking game will be strong with Daniel.

Mount Pleasant Tigers (Black, Gold) - Head Coach Larry McBroom -  (4-6-0) @ Mount Pleasant and  (230-80-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (5-2), returns 18 letterman 4 offensive 5 defensive starters with 19 letterman lost from a (4-6) team.   JV Record (3-6), Freshman Record (6-3).  Overall Strength - defense, Offensive strength - quarterback, Defensive strength - defensive back.  Notes from the Coach: Should be much better on defense.  More depth up front, more experience in the secondary.  The kicking game should also be better.  The place-kicker and punter both return.  Good JV return man.  If our offensive line develops, we should be more consistent on offense with an experienced QB.

Paris Wildcats (Blue, White, Silver) - Head Coach Brent Southworth -  (13-17-0) @ Paris and  (13-17-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple), Defense (4-2-5), returns 17 letterman 5 offensive 5 defensive starters with 22 letterman lost from a (3-7) team.  JV Record (2-8), Freshman Records A(6-4), B(4-4).  Overall Strength - offense, Offensive strength - running back, quarterback, Defensive strength - linebacker.  Notes from the Coach: The Wildcats will be led by 2-time and 2-way All-District performer Ryan Southworth (FB-LB).  He led the defense with 116 tackles and 4 caused fumbles and will be one of the
