Abilene Eagles (Black, Gold) - Head Coach Steve Warren -  (71-32-0) @ Abilene and  (89-54-0) Overall, Offense (I Back), Defense (3-4), returns 15 letterman 3 offensive 3 defensive starters with 44 letterman lost from a (12-1) Div. II Regional finalist playoff team.  Abilene returns (1) 2nd All-State QB, and (2) 1st All-District players.  JV record (8-2), Freshman record (9-1).  Overall Strength - defense, Offensive strength - quarterback, offensive line, Defensive strength - linebacker.  Notes from the Coach: Team has to gain experience early to continue the playoff run.

 

Midland Bulldogs (Purple, Gold) - Head Coach Craig Yenzer -  (25-13-0) @ Midland and  (68-37-0) Overall, Offense (I / Shotgun), Defense (5-2 Eagle), returns 25 letterman 3 offensive 4 defensive starters with 39 letterman lost from a (10-3) Div. II Regional finalist playoff team.  Midland returns (2) 1st All-District players.  JV record (7-3), Freshman (9-1).  Overall Strength - offense, Offensive strength - Quarterback, running back, offensive line, kicker, Defensive strength - linebacker, cornerback.  Notes from the Coach: Since coming to Midland High in 2002, our goal has been to build a football program the school and community can be proud of.  In the last 3 years we have been in the playoffs 2 out of the last 3 years and stand 6-2 in postseason play.  Our players and staff are very excited about the future and want to continue the trend of making the playoffs and being successful once were there.  Our talent base continues to get better and our numbers (200 in 10-11-12 total grades playing football) suggest the attitude toward football at Midland HS continues to improve.  In 2005, we will continue to strive to uphold the standards at commitment, trust, pride, and integrity our past 3 senior classes have exhibited.

Midland Lee Rebels (Maroon, White) - Head Coach Randy Quisenberry -  (8-3-0) @ Midland Lee and  (66-37-0) Overall, Offense (NA), Defense (NA), returns 21 letterman 3 offensive 2 defensive starters with 33 letterman lost from a (8-3) Div. I Bi-District playoff team.  Midland Lee returns (4) 1st All-District players.
