| Missouri City/FB Elkins - Coach Greg Alexander, Offense (Spread), Defense (50), returns 14 letterman 3 offensive 5 defensive starters with 34 letterman lost from a (3-7) team. Overall Strength (both offense and defense), Strengths on offense (receiver, offensive line), Strengths on defense (linebacker, defensive back). Notes from the Coach: I expect the seniors to demonstrate/exhibit some leadership and lead by example. This year's team could be awfully young as our freshman and sophomores. Class are pretty good. Our offensive line has a chance to be pretty good. QB and RB are question marks as we will probably have 2 starters with no varsity experience at these positions. |

| Sugar Land/FB Kempner - Coach Mike Ferrell (9-3-0) at Sugar Land/FB Kempner and (9-3-0) Overall, Offense (Multiple I), Defense (Multiple 50), returns 25 letterman 4 offensive 7 defensive starters with 35 letterman lost from a (9-3) 5A Div. I Regional playoff team. Notes from the Coach: Kemper plays in the 2004 Dave Campbell's Kickoff Classic in San Antonio (August 28th vs. Pearland). This year's team hopes to become the first team in history that makes the playoffs two years in a row. Team Strengths - Experience 11 returning starters; 2nd year in the program under Coach Ferrell should bring improvement. Team Weaknesses: Loss of key skill players on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball (two LB's, 2 corners, tailback, quarterback), rebuilding offensive line. |

| Sugar Land/FB Willowridge - Coach Darryl Scurlock (11-20-0) at Sugar Land/FB Willowridge and (11-20-0) Overall, Offense (Veer), Defense (4-3), returns 24 letterman 9 offensive 9 defensive starters with 25 letterman lost from a (5-6) 5A Div. II Bi-district playoff team. Overall Strength (defense), Strengths on offense (quarterback), Strengths on defense (linebacker). Notes from the Coach: Offensively, the offensive line will have to come together and be more physical. The running backs will need to be more consistent. The receivers need more depth and become better blockers. The QB needs to be more consistent and make better decisions. Defensively, we need to be more physical. We will have better depth at the defensive line positions. The linebackers will have better depth and better discipline with technique. The secondary will be more aggressive and also play with better technique. |
